Specialist Aviation Services, June 01, 2010 - Medical Aviation Services Ltd, a Specialist Aviation Services Group Company, is pleased to announce the delivery of its latest MD 902 Explorer to Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust.
As helicopter provider and licensed operator, MAS will also supply the pilots who will help the Trust’s clinical staff provide their vital skills throughout the county.
The new helicopter, G-EHAA, has been specially equipped to meet the Trust’s specification at the Group’s Gloucestershire Airport facilities. The Explorer will operate initially from the existing base at Boreham as it replaces the previous contractor from the start of this month
The new Essex Air Ambulance will operate in tandem with the existing Herts Air Ambulance, another MD 902 Explorer, also provided by MAS under the same contract.
