Boost Systems, August 01, 2024 - North Vancouver, BC – BOOST Systems, a global leader in fully certified human external cargo (HEC) systems, personal carrying device systems (PCDS), and related training services, now offers an Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified HEC system for the Bell UH-1H.
The FAA recently awarded BOOST the supplemental type certificate (STC) SR02796SE, certifying the UH-1H HEC system.
Previously, BOOST’s 412/212/205 HEC Systems were approved by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) with STC SH20-38 and by the FAA with STC SR04615NY.
The new certification adds the only FAA-certified HEC system for the UH-1H. This system is recommended for use during CFR Part 133 external load missions, including search-and-rescue (SAR), law enforcement, HEC operations, cargo transport, utility line work, powerline maintenance, and forestry operations.
BOOST Systems offers a complete line of TCCA and FAA-certified HEC systems for a wide range of helicopter models, including the Bell 412/212/205, 206L and 407, Airbus AS350/355 and EC135/145 and MD500.
Additionally, BOOST provides fully compliant accessories, such as approved PCDS and Generation II HEC Suspension Lines.
