Airbus Helicopters, April 08, 2026 - Santiago – During the FIDAE 2026 airshow, Airbus Helicopters celebrated the delivery of the first H160 in the Southern Cone region to operator Helipatagonia. The Argentine company provides charter services and specialized aerial work.
The helicopter will be used for passenger transport missions across the Argentine and Chilean Patagonia.

Helipatagonia is an Argentina-based operator specializing in aerial services in complex geographic environments. The company operates a fleet dedicated to transport and logistical support missions across the southern region of the continent. Its operations focus on connecting remote areas and serving private sector clients.
The H160 currently has 69 units in operation across 21 countries, including seven in Latin America. The aircraft features Helionix avionics to reduce pilot workload and enhance safety through automatic flight protections. Its Blue Edge blades and inclined Fenestron reduce noise and improve performance, optimizing missions such as transport, emergency services, and public operations in diverse environments.
