LORD Corp, February 13, 2018 - CARY, NC – LORD Corporation, a global diversified technology and manufacturing company, has announced a new brand for its portfolio of electromechanical products: LORD Electromechanical Solutions.
As part of this new brand, LORD’s Fly-by-Wire Systems France (FbW) brand will transition to LORD Electromechanical Solutions.
LORD Electromechanical Solutions encompasses LORD’s array of electromechanical products, including cockpit control systems and components, electromechanical actuation, active vibration control systems, sensing systems and components, and torque monitoring systems.
LORD acquired FbW in June 2016 – a move that positioned the global company for expansion into new markets and regions, and provided a major aerospace engineering and manufacturing presence in Europe. Rebranding the FbW division to LORD Electromechanical Solutions furthers the integration and aligns with the company’s global brand.
