US Air Force, May 06, 2019 - MILDENHALL, SFK, UNITED KINGDOM by Airman Antonia Herrera - For the first time in Air Force history a flying crew chief program exists for the CV-22 Osprey.
This ceremony highlighted five of the best dedicated crew chiefs in the 752d Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (SOAMXS) who have been elevated to the flying crew chief status.
They will accompany the aircraft on missions and will be versed in all systems to aid the aircrew with maintenance.
This program standing up is a CV-22, Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and USAF first.
