First Brazilian H145D3 Helicopters

Helibras, Airbus Brazilian subsidiary, delivered 2 H-145D3 5-blade helicopters to Air Jet Taxi Aéreo for VIP and aeromedical flights. These are the first of this model to arrive in country

Helibras, January 17, 2022 - São Paulo - Helibras has just delivered two H145 model aircraft to the company Air Jet Taxi Aéreo Ltda.

The helicopters are the first equipped with five blades to be used for passenger transport and also for aeromedical transport in Brazil.

In addition to the recognized operational efficiency and safety, which make the helicopter a commercial success all over the world, the 5-blade version offers an additional 150kg of payload.

The new main rotor design, without bearings, in addition to facilitating maintenance, ensures greater in-flight comfort, an essential feature for this market.

Air Jet Táxi Aéreo, belonging to the Grupo Prevent Senior, is an executive air transport company, whose main values ​​are agility, safety and versatility. The company has state-of-the-art equipment and a medical team specialized in aeromedical transport.

The teams are trained in all essential aircraft procedures to act in any eventuality. The Air Jet fleet has other Airbus / Helibras helicopters for inter-hospital transport in short, medium and long distances two Airbus H125 and one Airbus H135.

For Lionel De-Maupeou, Head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Helibras, the aircraft delivered are equipped with the most modern equipment, which will add more capacity and technology to air medical transport in the country. “This is an activity that saves lives and needs to be increasingly developed in Brazil, given the size of its territory and population. We appreciate Air Jet's trust in our products, which today represent more than half of the air medical helicopter fleet in operation in the world.
