Schweizer, March 01, 2023 - Fort Worth, Texas – Schweizer, manufacturer of the proven Schweizer S300, S300CBi, and S333 helicopters, is thrilled to announce it has contracted with Helicopter Institute Inc. to provide OEM training in the Schweizer S300 series of helicopters.
Located a few hangars north of Schweizer’s manufacturing facility at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport, Helicopter Institute is a full-service flight school offering flight training from ab initio instruction to advanced factory-approved transition and recurrency courses in a number of helicopter platforms.
“Schweizer is truly honored to have such a valuable partnership with Helicopter Institute to ensure our customers receive factory-approved training from some of the best instructors in the industry,” says Schweizer President and CEO David Horton. “Our customers are in very good hands with Helicopter Institute.”
Helicopter Institute will offer an OEM training course for the aircraft as well as make it available for flight instruction toward helicopter ratings. As a part of the agreement, Helicopter Institute will also provide all official training in the S300 series for Schweizer customers where instruction is included as part of aircraft purchase contracts, including foreign agency and military aircraft purchases.

Helicopter Institute took delivery of a newly refurbished Schweizer 300C this week and has already begun using it for training.
