Timberline Helicopters, August 13, 2022 - SANDPOINT, ID – Timberline Helicopters Inc., a full-service global helicopter heavy-lift operator, has again strengthened its unwavering dedication to safety excellence by earning IS-BAO Stage 2 certification.
Introduced in 2002 by The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), the IS-BAO program is an industry code of practice to foster standardized, safe and highly professional aircraft operations.
IS-BAO is highly recognized by aviation specialists worldwide as the highest standard for safety, security, and efficiency in business aircraft operations.
The IS-BAO program provides a quality management approach to analyzing, controlling, and mitigating risk via performance based-standards and guidance protocols for the operator’s Safety Management System (SMS).
This certification closely follows several other key safety enhancements at the Timberline group and is representative of our continued dedication to safety as a core value. We strongly believe that our culture should mirror that of our customers.
“As Timberline continues to grow, we are continuously working to improve our safety culture and practices throughout all of Timberline’s operating companies,” said Ammy Jorgenson, Timberline CEO. “We believe our commitment to raising the bar in our industry is paramount to offering our customers exceptional service and solutions.”
Timberline operates a fleet of UH-60 Blackhawk and Kaman K-MAX helicopters, in conjunction with its wholly owned Part 145 Repair Station and Timberline Aerospace divisions, while providing its customers with uncompromising personal service and support.
