LOM PRAHA Sign MoU for Bell Military Helicopters

Bell Helicopter, June 18, 2015 - PRAGUE, Czech Republic – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company, announced today the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding with Prague-based service and support provider LOM PRAHA for discussions on collaboration involving reassembly, customization and maintenance of Bell Helicopter military aircraft.

Founded by the Czech Ministry of Defense in 1915, LOM PRAHA provides customer support in all areas of helicopter and aircraft operation, including overhauls, upgrades and dynamic component (turbo shaft engines, gearboxes and auxiliary power units) lifecycle support. LOM PRAHA also manufactures and repairs piston engines and propellers and provides training for pilots in their Flight Training Center in Pardubice. LOM PRAHA also provides tactical aircraft simulation for aircraft, helicopters and ground forces training.

Bell Helicopter currently owns and operates a European customization, completion and delivery center on the grounds of Vaclav Havel Airport, established to answer the heightened demand for Bell Helicopter’s civil products and services in Europe.
