PZL-Mielec, July 15, 2015 - On the range in Nowa Deba subdivisions of the Polish and American troops practiced leading the fight with using helicopters.
In the exercises attended two American UH-60L Black Hawk.
Polish soldiers from the 6th Airborne Brigade and the US from 2th Cavalry Regiment and the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team throughout July trained on the range in Nowa Deba. During the first days exercises were practice with the use of Black Hawk helicopters. The aim of the exercise was to improve cooperation in activities of the airborne forces on the modern battlefield.
The soldiers practiced on the ground procedures load onto a helicopter and leaving the deck. This step was particularly important for the Poles, who had to become acquainted with this type of aircraft.
During helicopters stationed in Nowa Deba soldiers practiced typical parachuting – assault activities, when Polish and American soldiers were shuttled to Black Hawk helicopters to then together perform stormed the building.
The third day of training filled skydiving, which have been performed on the American parachutes type T-11. Each time eight soldiers got to the helicopter then to left a deck at a height of about 300 meters above the ground. As a result, the Polish paratroopers had an opportunity to get to know the American procedures in force during the assault and equipment used by US soldiers.
