Bell, July 15, 2025 - Mirabel, Canada – Bell Textron Canada Limited, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has announced a second donation in a year to the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT). This latest shipment includes 700 aircraft components valued at 4.4 million dollars CAD.

Combined with the other 1,800 components donated in October of 2024, the estimated value of Bell’s total contribution to SIIT now exceeds 10 million dollars CAD. The donated components reflect Bell’s commitment to supporting the community and investing in the future.

Michael Nault, general manager of Bell Textron Canada, conveyed his excitement for this new contribution, remarking, "We are delighted to continue supporting the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies. This renewed collaboration deepens Bell’s contribution to the education of Indigenous youth wishing to become the next generation of aviation professionals."

The donation includes a diverse range of aircraft parts such as communication systems, machined parts, sheet metal, composites, and various electrical and mechanical components. By providing these authentic materials, Bell aims to significantly enhance SIIT's Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) program. The donated parts are comprised of surplus inventory from Bell which is obsolete with no potential rework or spares use on Bell’s end.

Mark Pollard, Dean of Trades & Industrial at SIIT, said “Bell Textron Canada’s continued support of SIIT’s AME programs provides Indigenous learners with invaluable hands-on experience using real-world aircraft components. This generous donation reinforces our commitment to preparing students for successful careers in the aerospace industry.”
