ShotOver, April 09, 2019 - Las Vegas – SHOTOVER, a developer of high-performance aerial stabilization platforms, announced today the unveiling of the SHOTOVER B1 camera system at NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The system will be showcased on the two-seat, lightweight Cabri G2 helicopter that is owned by Carbon Flight, and managed and operated by Anthelion Helicopters.

Designed to meet the needs of a wide range of markets including industrial survey, live broadcast, production, and surveillance, the system is the most compact aerial camera system developed by SHOTOVER.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this groundbreaking launch,” said Anthelion Founder and CEO Alex Chaunt. “Being the only Cabri G2 operator in California, we truly believe in the commercial viability of this aerial solution which the marketplace has been seeking. The B1 bridges the cost gap between drones and much larger aerial camera systems.”

Weighing under 40 pounds with payload, the SHOTOVER B1’s lightweight design allows it to be utilized on a host of helicopters including the Cabri G2, Robinson R44 and R66, Bell 206 and 505, Eurocopter AS350, and Cessna fixed wing aircraft among others.

The system can also be mounted on watercraft and ground-based platforms such as cable cams, tracks and rails. Like all of SHOTOVER’s aerial camera systems, the B1 features award-winning 6-axis stabilization technology, providing unmatched look down capability and functionality. Coupled with unsurpassed reliability, service, and support, the open platform design of the system will allow end users the flexibility and creative freedom to utilize the system for a variety of applications.

“We are excited to expand into new markets with the launch of the B1,” said SHOTOVER CEO Brad Hurndell. “The system is a great addition to our rapidly-growing product line and will open up new opportunities for end users.”

The system comes with a 5-year warranty that includes preventative maintenance and software updates. Additional features include integration with Churchill moving map platforms, angled front window for brilliant imagery without reflections, and exceptional low light and daylight performance.
