SPAES GmbH & Co. KG, October 07, 2018 - Karlsruhe, Germany – For a customer in aviation industry SPAES GmbH & Co. KG installed with Intercopter a SLANT-console in a helicopter Airbus EC 135.
Various devices can be mounted clearly in the cockpit.
For a better overview of navigation systems in the cockpit SPAES installed with Intercopter a SLANT-console in a helicopter Airbus EC 135. Two Garmin devices were mounted.
“With broadening of the console the devices are more clearly arranged. This allows a highly variable, space saving and clear installation of the devices. The handling of those installed devices in the cockpit is easier for the pilot”, said Joachim Kies, Head of Operational Business SPAES.
An EASA Minor Change was approved on site of the customer for installation. For that, the necessary installation and verification documents and test protocols were generated. A Part 145 maintenance organization was responsible for the installation of the change.
