Helibasket, September 20, 2020 - WEST UNION, SC - The Defense Logistics Agency has assigned 3940-01-672-4165 (Sling, Multiple Leg) as the National Stock Number (NSN) for Helibasket LLC’s TB37000A Tow Bridle Load Out Kit.

Military users can find it established under AMCOM CAGE 81996, Part number 1011193 and is DLA managed.

Helibasket Tow Bridle systems are designed for wide use on vehicles, aircraft, and other rolling stock for loading onto railcars, trailers, cargo aircraft, and ships.

The Carbon Fiber Tow bars and soft eye adapters flex when required to keep equal forces on the towed vehicle and the tow lines taught. This permits more flexibility to get the most non-steerable cargo into a given cargo deck.

HeliBasket Tow Bridle products are designed using new technology for weight savings and high safety considerations combined with maximum strength and utility capabilities.

The systems use Plasma® 12 Strand rope, enclosed in a polyester jacket and covered with two coats of polyurethane. The tow bar is made from carbon fiber composites with aluminum inserts, and the hooks and shackles are high quality rigging hardware.

The TB37000A series Tow Bridles have an U.S. Army approval for use with all Army rotorcraft and is the USAF primary system for the C-5 and C-17 series cargo aircraft
