Canada and UK Approvals for Coptersafety

Coptersafety, February 14, 2023 - This year has started off great with new approvals and audits allowing us to offer our training services to more pilots.

We have a busy year ahead of us. Many of the more popular time periods are getting full. Make sure to book your simulator training if you haven't already

UK CAA Approval

Great news from the UK, Coptersafety received an approved training organization certificate from the UK CAA.

As a (UK) Part-ORA certified training organization with the privilege to provide (UK) Part-FCL training courses, including the use of FSTDs, as listing in the training site and training course approval. Now all Coptersafety FSTDs and the ATO are UK CAA approved.

Thailand CAAT Audit

In January we were audited by the Civil Aviation Administration of Thailand. We are pleased to say that they found 0 findings in our facility! They were pleasantly surprised by the quality and atmosphere of Coptersafety. We were happy to hear their feedback about our teams’ competence and cheerfulness.

Transport Canada Approval

Recently, both Coptersafety AW139 simulators were approved by Transport Canada. We are happy to now offer our services to Canadian-licensed AW139 pilots. We look forward to providing training to Canadian-licensed pilots at our training base.

Upcoming Events

In a couple of weeks our team is flying to Atlanta for APSA Rescue Summit 2023 and HAI HELI-Expo 2023.

APSA Rescue Summit 2023 focuses on helicopter rescue operations. Highlighting safety, our CTKI Matt Presnal will give a presentation on SAR Operational Training in Simulators. The rest of our team will also be available to talk more about SAR and public safety operational training.
