Helis, May 29, 2019 - German offshore helicopter operator Wiking Helikopter Service GmbH has taken delivery of another Airbus H145 helicopter.
This is the fifth EC145T2 model to be added to Wiking' fleet.
Airbus Bank, a 100 percent affiliate of Airbus, has arranged financing for this aircraft that was received in leasing from Italian air ambulance operator Elifriulia.
The H145, with a seating capacity for up to eight passengers, arrived from England and was equipped for offshore configuration with a emergency flotation system certified for Sea State 6, a weather radar, and a hoist to lift maritime pilots and other passengers where landing is not possible.
Wiking helicopters main mission is to drop off harbor pilots, fly air rescue missions over the North Sea and transport service technicians to offshore wind farms.
