On the night of 22 Oct 1961, the 300 ton mv Haronell had been swept onto the Tusker Rock, off Rosslare. An Irish Naval Service vessel and the Wexford Lifeboat, the Kilmore Quay, were on scene as the Brawdy Stn Flt Dragonfly HR.5 winched 3 survivors down, to be taken ashore. Three other crewman from the coaster were lost.
