

Canadian Helicopters Ltd / Helicopteres Canadiens Limitee is headquartered near Montreal, Quebec. Until November 2000 was part of CHC. Since 2012 part of HNZ Group. On December 2017, Don Wall, HNZ's President and CEO, acquired all the issued and outstanding shares of HNZ. As part of the arrangement, PHI acquired the portion of HNZ's offshore business conducted in New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, and Don Wall retained Canadian Helicopters (the onshore operations).
As of 2020, operates around 100 aircraft from 25 bases across Canada and various seasonal/contractual international locations supporting many sectors/industries including the military, emergency medical services (EMS), hydro/utilities, oil and gas, mining, forestry, police, corporate, and construction.
