Scandinavian AirAmbulance (SAA) operates primarily air ambulances in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Scandinavian AirAmbulance operates fixed-wing aircraft while Scandinavian MediCopter flies helicopters.

SAA Sweden started its operations 2001. In 2008 was merge with Lufttransport and SOS Helikoptern Gotland creating Scandinavian MediCopter. On June 2014 joins Avincis Group.
Since 2016 part of Babcock and known as Babcock Scandinavian Air Ambulance (BSAA)


BSAA AW169 Starts Operations at Göteborg, 01-Jun-18 : #ambulance Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance started operations at Götaland with a new AW169 helicopter

Scandinavian AirAmbulance Received Fifth AW169, 16-May-18 : Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulances (BSAA) received their fifth AW169 which will be based at Säve airport in Gothenburg

Aviation Safety on Top for BSAA, 07-May-18 : Babcock Scandinavian Airambulance (BSAA), which will take charge of Norway air ambulance service next year, rejected an offer to give pilots a bonus if they had zero sick leave for a calendar year
