Scandinavian AirAmbulance (SAA) operates primarily air ambulances in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Scandinavian AirAmbulance operates fixed-wing aircraft while Scandinavian MediCopter flies helicopters.
SAA Sweden started its operations 2001. In 2008 was merge with Lufttransport and SOS Helikoptern Gotland creating Scandinavian MediCopter. On June 2014 joins Avincis Group.
Since 2016 part of Babcock and known as Babcock Scandinavian Air Ambulance (BSAA)
Scandinavian AirAmbulance AW169 Entered Service, 16-Jan-18 : Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance (BSAA) started first AW169 Emergency Medical Service (EMS) in the Nordics. Replaced AS365N2 based in Jämtland Härjedalen since 2006. Three more bases to join in 2018
