Established 1983, Survival Flight is the critical care transport program of the University of Michigan Hospital Health System (UMHS). Service provided by Metro Aviation.
In October 2011, the University of Michigan Hospital' Survival Flight air ambulance became the first in U.S.A. to operate the Eurocopter EC155 configured for medical services when they replaced the Bell 430.
