Originally opened as Cornwall Aero Park with a collection of Royal Navy aircraft from adjacent RNAS Culdrose, this site held great promise. Sadly, the airframes fell into disrepair and the owners re-focussed attention onto a Victorian theme park to take advantage of a locally based television series, Flambards. Most of the aircraft have now either been saved elsewhere (eg Wasp HAS.1 XT427) or scrapped and most members of the public ask What was Flambards ?, while our naval aviation heritage is less than 100m away.
