Established 1984, the University of Tennessee (UT) Medical Center (UTMC) LifeStar served a 150 mile radius of Knoxville covering East Tennessee, Southeast Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina. Operated by Med-Trans.

08-May-19 - At the April 2019 meeting of the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) that took place in Albuquerque, New Mexico were announced 23 reaccreditations and a new accreditation to UT LIfestar of Knoxville, Tennessee #CAMTS
