    Reactivated as 512th Special Operations Squadron ( 512th SOS ) on 1994 within the 58th Special Operations Wing at Kirtland AFB. Redesignated 512 RQS on October 2000

    Kirtland AFB Welcomes HH-60W, 18-Dec-20 : #Kirtland USAF 512th Rescue Squadron (RQS), 58th Special Operations Wing (SOW) at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico welcomed the newest combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopter, the HH-60W “Jolly Green II”, December 17, 2020

    New Detachment Stands Up at Kirtland AFB, 12-Sep-19 : #Kirtland USAF’ 58th Operations Group (58 OG) Detachment 2 was activated at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico to “Prepare the wing to start formal training on the HH-60W, no later than March of 2021”

    512th RQS HH-60G Pave Hawk Reaches 12,000 Hours, 10-Jan-17 : An USAF’s Sikorsky HH-60G, tail number 81-23644, passed 12000 flight hours leading all Air Force Pave Hawks. Manufactured in 1983, is flying with the 58th SOW, 512th Rescue Squadron since 1990.
