Launched on 23 Jul 2002, this was a new venture in cooperation for ÖAMTC. Based at Suben, the Europa 3 unit is jointly staffed by crews and medical personnel from the German ADAC (Bavaria) organisation and its service area covers Bavaria (Bayern) and Oberösterreich (Upper Austria).
In collaboration with ADAC, OAMTC delivers from May until November the helicopter.
