

HSG-64 was in charge of SAR and CSAR with UH-1D and NH90 from Munster, Niederstetten, Holzdorf and Norvenich until mission (and helicopters) transferred to the Army in 2013. In return, HSG-64 remained as the only CH-53 unit after Army HFR15 and HFR25 were disbanded
