Helicopters
SAMU 06, known as guardian angel, serves the Alpes-Maritimes region of southern France. Attached to the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice (CHU) is based at Hospital Pasteur 2.
SAMU 06 achieves over 400 helicopter missions per year in a 4,300 square kilometre area that extends from the low Southern Alps to the Mediterranean coast and the island of Corsica.
