Operates the HS.9 (SH-3 Sea King) in AEW and ASW mission profiles. During 2005, the unit relinquished its ASW role as its HS.9s were converted for the transport and assault role. 
Former US Navy SH-60F replaced the SH-3G Sea Kings.
