    Corvette Esmeralda class

    Very powerful and fast, Esmeraldas are the main strenght of the Armada de Ecuador. They were designed and built in Italy, basically similar to the Iraqui Assad Class ( which were embargoed and not delivered and transferred to the Malaysian Navy as Laksamana class instead ).
