    1967-apr-26Launchedat Alexander Stephen, Yard No 697 and completed at Yarrow.

    1973-jun-8Deploymentdeparted HMNB Portsmouth as escort for HMS Tiger, Flagship for Far East group deployment of Task Group 317.1, in company with HMS Dido and HMS Rhyl. The group was supported by RFA Regent and RFA Tidespring, until it returned to the UK on 21 Dec 1973.

Joined up in English Channel with HMS Blake, the Flagship of Task Group 317.7 for a 6.5 month Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific group deployment, escorted by HMS Juno and supported by RFA Green Rover, RFA Stromness and RFA Tidespring. Returned to Devonport 12 Dec 1978.
    1980-janRefitHMD Chatham Refit Sea Wolf Seawolf conversion commenced at HMD Chatham, completed Oct 1983. Hermione was the last frigate to undergo refit before HMD Chatham closed. She rejoined the Fleet with the 6th Frigate Squadron.
