    1977-jun-25Deployment Fleet Review: Silver Jubilee of HM The Queen Guardship for Silver Jubilee Fleet Review, off Ryde Sand
    1977-augAircraftassigned Lynx HAS.2 XZ232/333-BM by Aug 1977 until at least Sep 1979.
    1978-junDeploymentdeparted HMNB Portsmouth as a late joiner to HMS Blake, the Flagship of Task Group 317.7, for a 6 month Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific group deployment. Returned to Portsmouth 12 Dec 1978.
    1981-marRefitRefit until c Mar 1982. Post refit trials shortened.
    1982-jun-18DeploymentSouth Atlantic departed HMNB Portsmouth for South Atlantic in company with HMS Southampton, to relieve ships from Operation Corporate. Returned 17 Oct.
    1985Refitat Rosyth, amongst other things to fit for Lynx HAS.3, returned to Portsmouth 1988. Preparing for refit, 200 Flt Lynx transferred to HMS Ambuscade.
    1987-octAircraft815 Sq 241 Flt Lynx HAS.3 detached to RFA TIdespring until Dec 1987.
    1988-sepAircraftassigned 815 Sq Lynx HAS.3 ZD256/333-BM until c Mar 1989
    1990-julDeploymentTrinidad whilst on West Indies Guardship deployment, sent to Trinidad with RFA Oakleaf, as island government was under threat
    1991Adriatic for Op Sharp Guard interdiction of shipping believed to be supplying Serbia
    1991-sep Armilla Patrol Departed Portsmouth for Armilla Patrol of Gulf region
    1997-mar-14DeploymentALoff Durrës Operation Helvin stood off Durrës to support evacuation of British citizens until relieved on station by HMS Exeter.
    1997-jun-23Deploymentordered to the Albanian coast, subsequently relieved by HMS Exeter.
    1998-augPort VisitPortsmouth on board Lynx ZD264
    1998-aug-28DeploymentHMNB Portsmouth International Festival of Sea Participated in IFoS 1998.
