1961	qh-50a	DS-1007	001007 : Gyrodyne DNS-1 c/n DS-1007, ff?; del USN as DNS-1 001007 Nov60; having served for only 2 months, this aircraft was lost during OPTEVFOR evaluations aboard the USS HAZELWOOD (DD-531) at Key West, Florida on 27Feb61.
1969	qh-50d	DS-1719	001719 : Gyrodyne QH-50D c/n DS-1719, ff?; accepted by USN as QH-50D 001719 Apr69; returned to Gyrodyne under a bailment agreement, Aug69; converted into QH-50E, unk date; upon acceptance by the Navy; xfer NATC-Patuxent River, MD unk; crashed while landing due to lag in automatic throttle control, Nov69.
1999	qh-50d	DS-1718	001718 : Gyrodyne QH-50D c/n DS-1718, ff?; accepted by USN as QH-50D 001718 Apr69; returned to Gyrodyne under a bailment agreement, Aug69; converted into a two place, manned QH-50E test bed for the 24 rotor system in which the Allison engine remained installed, unk date; destroyed in a trucking accident while being transported to California in 16Nov99.
