| 1974-10 | A EGHE | Isles of Scilly I have noted that Sikorsky S.61NM G-BCEB is listed as having been delivered to British International Helicopters in 1974 - this is incorrect It was actually delivered to British Airways Helicopters in 1974 and operated by BAH until the company was sold to Maxwell Aviation in 1986 British International Helicopters was only formed in 1986, based on the operational fleet acquired from BAH Under BIH (and later Brintel Helicopters), G-BCEB remained the principle helicopter on the Penzance - Isles of Scilly route until the service ceased in October 2012 | |
