this helicopter was designed and built in only in 1 year. this is a re- designed attack model of the uh-1(bell-205).it was made so fast, because the hueys needed some escorts, and they cannot carry enough weapons to defend it selves from the vietcong.the first model was the ah-1gwith a turret in the nose with a mini-gun and a grenade launcher.at the sides it carried rocket launchers or t.o.w. guided missiles.the recent model is the ah-1w that is used in the us marine corps and in greece,taiwan,israel,and other countries.
