Sikorsky X2

Benefiting from the XH-59 (Advancing Blade Concept) and X-49A experiences, the high-speed helicopter technology demonstrator made its first flight at the Schweizer Aircraft facility on August 27, 2008. It is a single-engined fly-by-wire aircraft that features coaxial rotors and a pusher propeller. Was retired on July 2011 after accumulating 22 hours over 23 test flights.
