Airbus Helicopters, May 15, 2014 - FORT ERIE, ON, CANADA - Airbus Helicopters' donation of an AS350 to the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) reflects its strong commitment to aviation and aerospace in Canada.

As the leading helicopter manufacturer worldwide, Airbus Helicopters' donation of the most popular single engine utility aircraft flying in Canada will provide an integral training tool for the next generation of Canadian aviation professionals.

BCIT's Aerospace Technology Campus is the largest provider of training to the aviation industry in British Columbia, offering accredited programs that prepare graduates for successful careers as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (avionics and maintenance), Gas Turbine/Jet Engine Technicians, Airport Operation Specialists and Commercial Pilots. In addition, we provide ongoing professional contract and specialty training to the Aerospace Industry in Canada and for international partners.
