Helis, September 30, 2020 - General Director of Russian Helicopters holding, part of Rostec, Andrey Boginsky announced that three customers are currently negotiating the purchase of the Ansat Aurus luxury helicopter
"We have three potential customers. We are currently negotiating. One machine is ready, we hope it will be sold this year," he said.
The Ansat helicopter with a high-comfort cabin was first unveiled at the MAKS-2019 international aerospace show in August 2019.
This variant is focused on the corporate and VIP transportation market.
The cabin has been designed by specialists of RH and NAMI (Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engines Institute).
Kazan Helicopter Plant has been manufacturing light twin-engine multipurpose helicopter Ansat since 2013.
Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said earlier that sales of Ansat Aurus helicopters were planned at the level of 20-25 units per year starting 2021 but the output volumes will be largely defined by the demand and wishes of potential clients.
