Ingenio Part of Canadian CH-146 GLEE Upgrade

Bell selects Ingenio Aerospace avionics products for the CH-146 Griffon Limited Life Extension (GLEE) Project to upgrade 85 helicopters of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) through 2031 covering replacement of avionics and engines

INGENIO Aerospace, October 05, 2022 - MONTREAL - INGENIO Aerospace, developers of innovative aircraft cockpit and cabin solutions, announced that Bell Textron, a pioneering aerospace manufacturer of military and commercial rotorcraft, has integrated INGENIO’s Cockpit Tablet Electronic Flight Bag (“Heli-Mount EFB”) into the CH-146 Griffon Limited Life Extension (GLLE) project for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).

The GLLE is an $800 million project that will extend the life of the RCAF’s fleet of 85 CH-146 Griffon helicopters through 2031.

It will cover the replacement of avionics systems, upgrading of cockpit displays, engine upgrades and integration of sensor systems.

INGENIO’s compact, ruggedized and lightweight Heli-Mount EFB provides a secure and robust mounting system for personal electronic devices (PEDs) while in flight. It is an important element related to Bell Textron’s overhaul of the CH-146.
