Helis, November 01, 2019 - Sikorsky continues development of the future US Marine Corps heavy helicopter, the CH-53K King Stallion, with the recently testing of its defensive system.
The advanced defensive suite of the CH-53K includes integrated chaff and flare dispensers to defeat and counter missiles threats.
Sikorsky is currently building the first 12 of eventually 200 helicopters. Known as Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 2 and 3, will be delivered in 2022.
