Enstrom, October 20, 2023 - Enstrom Helicopter Corporation will showcase its helicopters at this year’s European Rotors show in Madrid, the largest business-to-business rotorcraft event outside the United States. The four-day event runs from November 27 to 30 in IFEMA Hall 9.

Enstrom President Todd Tetzlaff and Vice President of Sales & Marketing Dennis Martin will be in attendance to both cement and expand Enstrom’s presence in the European market. They plan to bring a piston 280FX helicopter, currently located in France, onto the show floor for display.

Martin said, “Enstrom serves customers on six different continents, from South America to East Asia. Our history in Europe dates back five decades to the early 1970s, and Europe continues to be an essential market for us. We can’t wait to reconnect with our European customers and make new connections with aviation enthusiasts worldwide.”

The European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have teamed up to create an exceptional showcase for the European VTOL branch. Industry experts will gather to discuss the future of vertical flight, delving into the latest trends, innovations, and challenges within the rotorcraft sector.

Show officials will offer a robust schedule of training sessions beginning with the VTOL Safety Symposium on Monday, November 27. European Rotors will then dedicate Thursday, November 30 to helping employers find skilled applicants for open positions. Enstrom encourages qualified candidates to visit Enstrom’s booth any day between November 28 and 30 to inquire about job opportunities.

This year, Helicopter Association International (HAI) will play a crucial part in organizing events, ensuring the same high quality presentation attendees have come to expect from HAI’s annual HELI-EXPO in the United States.

“Enstrom has enjoyed a close business relationship with HAI,” said Tetzlaff. “We are eager to demonstrate our support for the organization and the international VTOL community.”

More than 200 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in European Rotors this year, including Enstrom.

Enstrom Showcases Helicopters on World Stage at European Rotors

Enstrom, December 14, 2023 - At European Rotors in Madrid, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation displayed to the world once again why its helicopters are so highly regarded in the rotorcraft community. European Rotors, the largest business-to-business rotorcraft event outside the United States, grew even larger in scope this year. More than 5,400 people from more than 80 countries attended the event between November 27 and 30. Organizers also confirmed the participation of 231 exhibitors.

The European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) organized the event, with Helicopter Association International (HAI) helping produce.

Industry experts, seizing on the momentum of the European market’s growth, gathered to discuss the future of vertical flight, highlighting exciting innovations and working to anticipate potential challenges. Organizers hosted various safety seminars and career development opportunities throughout the week.

Enstrom representatives enjoyed a well-positioned booth (931), where a representative from the French Enstrom dealer brought a 280FX to display.

Enstrom President Todd Tetzlaff said “It was a very productive show, and we had a very active booth. Enstrom received much interest from prospective buyers, sales representatives, suppliers, and other helicopter manufacturers. Attendees sought us out for discussions – Enstrom was actively on their mind.”

Tetzlaff had the honor of representing Enstrom at the General Aviation Manufacturer’s Association (GAMA) rotorcraft subcommittee meeting held during the show.

He said of the meeting, “It was great to have a ‘seat at the table’ where I could voice our opinion in open discussions among other manufacturers, the FAA, and its European equivalent, EASA.”

Outgoing EHA chair Christian Müller announced in his opening remarks that European Rotors 2024 will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands from November 4 to November 7. Enstrom officials are now already preparing for Enstrom’s presence at next year’s expo. More information on European Rotors can be found on the official event website.

In the meantime, Enstrom invites stateside rotorcraft enthusiasts to join them at HAI HELI-EXPO in Anaheim, California between February 26-29 at booth 6102.
