Helis, March 19, 2019 - The Juno HT1 helicopters fleet operated by Ministry of Defence (MoD) surpass the 10,000 flight hours milestone in less than one year of service.
The H135, in their EC135T3H (Arrius 2B2Plus engine and Helionix avionics suite) variant, replaced the AS350B Squirrel HT1 in the basic rotary wing training role with the Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS) at RAF Shawbury from 2018.
A contract was signed with Airbus on May 16, 2016 to deliver 29 H135 (plus 3 H145 known as Jupiter HT1 for advanced training) with all delivered by April 2018 on time and to cost.
