From May 21 to 23 UTair Group companies took part in the eighth International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2015.

UTair, May 26, 2015 - From May 21 to 23 UTair Group companies took part in the eighth International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2015.

This forum, the largest in Europe and Asia and one of the largest in the world, features Russian and foreign rotorcraft manufacturers, helicopters services providers and customers, provides the companies on the international helicopter market with an incentive to showcase their products and services and helps define the direction for their future development.

UTair employees took an active part in the business program of the forum, including the conference on issues of aviameteorological supplies for flights from helipads, the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) – Safety of helicopter services in energy industry seminar, the round table on Optimization of Aviation and Technical Equipment Deliveries and the 7th Helicopter Market: Reality and Prospects international conference. Additionally, UTair representatives held a number of meetings and participated in negotiations with helicopter equipment producers, including Russian Helicopters, Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopter, and MRO providers. French Ambassador to Russia Jean-Maurice Ripert paid a business visit to the UTair stand.

During HeliRussia 2015, Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Helicopters Vostok, the UTair Training Center and UTair Aviation extended their quadripartite agreement on the training of pilots and technical crews. Additionally, the parties reached principal agreements on UTair Group participation in a network of authorized MRO centers and spare part dealerships being created by Airbus Helicopters Vostok in Russia.

Participation of UTair employees in the Best of the Professionals contest organized by the Helicopter Industry Association once again became a success for UTair. UTair – Helicopter Services senior flight instructor Sergey Smirnyagin was named the Pilot of the Year and won the online poll in the same category.

UTair – Helicopter Services President Alexey Vinogradov emphasized the importance of UTair participation in the largest industry exhibition in Russia. “Today HeliRussia presents a perfect platform not only for companies to demonstrate their capabilities, but also to discuss important issues in the helicopter industry,” said Mr. Vinogradov. “Among the key results of UTair participation in HeliRussia were the extension of our agreement with Airbus Helicopters and the discussion of questions concerning the realization of helicopter services with customers.”

HeliRussia provides great opportunities for helicopter service providers to get acquainted with the latest products and develop partnerships and agreements.
