Helis, October 30, 2019 - The Bell 505 helicopter was on display at the 126th International Association of Chiefs of Police, IACP 2019, Conference and Exposition event at the McCormick Place West in Chicago, Illinois, October 26-29.
Bell presented its newest helicopter in public safety configuration.
The Bell 505 police variant entered service last year with the Sacramento Police Department in California and this year was followed by the City of Stockton, also in California
With a speed of 125 knots (232 km/h) and useful load of 1,500 pounds (680 kg), the aircraft is designed to be safe and easy to fly while providing significant value to the operator.
