Southeast Aerospace, March 02, 2016 - Southeast Aerospace (SEA), located in Melbourne FL, recently completed a contract with Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to install the Technisonics TDFM-9100 Multi-Band radio in their fleet of rotorcraft, which included two Bell 206B, one Bell 407 and one Bell OH-58A Helicopters.
The installations were completed at SEA’s facilities at Orlando Melbourne International Airport, Florida.
The TDFM-9100 is an airborne multi-band radio capable of operation in conventional, analog and P25 digital FM systems, SmartNet/SmartZone trunking systems and P25 9600 trunking systems.
This radio is P25 Phase I and Phase II compliant and supports digital/conventional narrow band operation as well as TDMA and FDMA operation in trunked mode. Single and dual band RF modules capable of supporting VHF (136 to 174 MHz), UHF Lo (380 to 470 MHz). UHF Hi (450 to 520 MHz) and 7/800 MHz (760 to 870 MHz) bands are available. All standard Motorola options such as encryption, OTAR, Multikey, Trunking, etc. are also supported. The TDFM-9100 can support up to 2000 channels per band. This transceiver is the same physical size as the older (and now discontinued) TDFM-6000 series of radios.
NVG Display is an available option.
