Finnish Army, November 10, 2016 - On Wednesday November 9th a milestone was reached when the NH90 helicopter reached the first 10.000 flight hours.
On a world scale the number of flying hours is the fourth largest.
NH90 helicopters have been in use since 2008 supporting the national defence demanding tasks at home and abroad and also in civilian missions such as Search and Rescue (SAR) and firefighting.
In addition NH90 helicopter crew have also been on standby as part of the European Union (EU) and NATO rapid reaction forces.
