Helis, December 03, 2018 - California’ Ventura County announced its first Black Hawk flew to Sikorky plant for a scheduled maintenance. When she comes back, training will be full speed ahead.
The helicopter, of the HH-60L type, was acquired from the surplus US Army fleet and converted by United Rotorcraft, part of Air Methods, to the Firehawk configuration.
The Ventura County Aviation Unit is a joint service by the Sheriff’ Office and the Fire Department and has 3 HH-60L registered.
