Formed in 1974 as a civil helicopter distributor and maintainer. In 1988 it introduced the AS355 into service with UK Police Forces. Received a boost in 1993 when Aerospatiale and MBB helicopter activities were joined under Eurocopter. Based near Oxford and near Chester, McAlpine Helicopters is exclusive distributor in the UK for Eurocopter light and medium helicopter models.
