The 1 Yuso Herikoputadan is the Medium Lift Transport Wing for the JGSDF. It has a HQ Utility squadron flying OH-6D/UH-60JA, (102 Hikotai coded HGPII) and 4 transport squadrons flying CH-47J/JA, (103 Hikotai coded HGPIII, 104 Hikotai coded HGPIV, 105 Hikotai coded HGPV, and 106 Hikotai coded HGPVI). All units are based at Kisarazu (RJTK).  |
