Created on 1 Jul 2022, by re-organising sections from the previous Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and the energy sections from the previous Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources. 
One constituent of the DCCEEW is the Australian Antarctic Division, which amongst other things manages the Australian Antarctic Program.
