GRDA is a “public power” utility established as “conservation and reclamation district for the waters of the Grand River” and is in charge of the dams along the river and over 70,000 surface acres of lake waters in Oklahoma for the purposes of hydroelectric generation and flood control.

Uses contractors, such as Haverfield Aviation, for high voltage power line maintenance.
