Unit History:

Commissioned on 11 Dec 1980 as the parent for the Ka-25 flights (although the first example was received in Mar 1980). First Ka-28 arrived in 1984 and the first of 3 training versions appeared in Jul 1989. The improved Ka-31 joined the unit in 2002.
